Welcome to Smeaton Hall Farm
A family-run working farm nestled among the fells and green valleys of the Lake District — where traditional farming meets modern, sustainable care for the land and its animals.
Rooted in the Lake District, farming for generations
Set against the fells above Ambleside, Smeaton Hall Farm has been shaped by generations of hard work, respect for the land, and a deep love of the Lake District countryside. Today we raise healthy livestock, tend our fields with sustainable methods, and welcome visitors and new team members who share our passion for honest, traditional farming.
From lambing season in the spring to hay-making in the summer, every season brings its own rhythm to life at Smeaton Hall — and we're proud to share it with our community.
